How it all began...

I have been painting and having fun with acrylics for upwards of 10 years, and although self taught in the artistic realm, have found my niche and sprouted a business that allows me to stay home and raise my 2-year-old son, Rory.

Rory's Room With a degree in Psychology, and 8 years experience in the industries of Sales and Training, I have always wanted to exercise my innate sense of creativity. While preparing for the birth of my son and getting the baby room decorated, I decided to paint his name on canvas to match his bedding. This is how Wall Candy Creations was born just a short 2 years ago. It all started with friends wanting me to paint their kids’ names for them, and then, before long, I had a local store selling my letters. Custom work soon became such an advantage for me, as baby names seem to be getting more colorful and creative all the time.

I have also illustrated 2 children’s books, written by my Mother, which are awaiting a co-publisher to assist in its printing and distribution. There is so much room to grow as well. I have added a line of stationery in the last year, consisting of PEACE cards, JOY cards, LOVE cards, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Cards, and THANKYOU cards. I am also able to turn any child’s name into a line of stationery, for party invitations and such. The sky’s the limit!

I feel very lucky to be doing something I am absolutely passionate about, and making some money at the same time. My son is better for it, as am I. I have my clients, friends, family, son and especially my husband to be grateful for, without whom my dreams would not be coming true!

Thank you!
